Halfpipe help???

Hi, ive been riding bmx on skateparks for a while now, i can do all the basics like up and down ramps and 180s fakies and the simple stuff..

im wondering if anyone can give me a few tips on how to get air on quarter pipes and halfpipes? and maybe tell me what i should try and what i should definatly not do..
