Specialized Fuse 3 or mountain bike?
Hey guys
Im new to the forums but I love biking. Im not the best, but love just riding and jumping around.
Im loooking for a new bike to replace my junker from sportchek.
I need a bike that I can ride for moderate distances, but also will withstand the harsh beating that I'm gonna put on it as I learn and progress.
I also am not sure if riding around a bright orange sexy looking bike around university is the best choice because I want to keep the bike (and all of its components) for longer than one day.
I have two different bikes that I can get decent deals on. They are both specialized, as I also like the company. So what Is the best option for my situation?
Specialized Fuse Three (2007) model
Specialized P2 Cr-Mo
Thanks a ton
EDIT: I looked up the fuse on this forum, and it seems like it would be a decent choice. Just something out of the box that I wont really need to upgrade, just ride for fun.

thanks for taking the time to actually type something
but will it be good for my situation? I want something to carry me on like up to 10 mile rides (if i really need to get somewhere), and something that wont get vandalized on campus.

Ehhh. Ten miles is a quite a haul for a BMX. And if you color it with a Sharpie (which I highly recommend to not do, makes very ugly) like Kinetik, I'm sure that no one would steal it. Hahaha. Just find somewhere really good to lock it up. And get a good lock.
