That looks like a Phillipino bike.

They sell them as 'adult bicycles' over there.

See that strip under the satchel carrier ?
I think that's the rear brake.
It's a piece of rubber - you shove your foot on it to stop the bike.

The worrying thing is I've seen kids using the sole of their trainer on a wheel instead of a brake....
