Need help of fiding a bike

hello, i recently had a diamondback bike and it broke becuase the chain kept slipping off. I am looking for a new bike in the 150-250$ range. I am looking for a bike that can take minor jumps, speed, off-roading on stony trails, riding on busy streets so some distance and thats all but im looking for a bmx looking bike so if u could direct me with some ideas i would absolutley love it.

Yeah, try to find one used or save up more money and get something that will last.
