Troubleshooting my freewheel
Hello,
I have a cassette hub that has been working well for some time now. I am working on becoming mechanically inclined so please advise. If I start to coast and remove my feet from the pedals the cassette will catch and pedal on its own. I have searched everywhere for help and minus calling a friend I decided to post here. So please, help, I would love to ride without my pedals pedaling without me.

what kind of cassette is it?
if its sealed itll be easier, its its lose ball...then you just have to A. know how to adjust the hub and B. know how to put it back together
either way, sounds like the paws in the cassette are sticking. take it a part, clean the paws and use super light grease or probably just lube

Take your wheel off take the drive side bearing nut off, pull the driver out. clean it well, and the teeth on the inside of the hub, re-lube with teflon. re-assemble.
