New Project.

So, my cousin decided to spray paint his bike. Well he painted the WHOLE bike. Didn't take anything off, except the chain, and he covered the tires and wheel with newspaper. So now he has a bike that is one solid color and it looked horrible. Because of this, I insisted that I take his bike, strip the paint off the bars, forks, stem, seat post, seat clamp, cranks, and pegs, and then repaint all of those parts black. He figured he would let me, so now I'm showing you guys. I already have most of it stripped and sometime this week, I'm going to be respraying it and it should look better. Here's what I have to work with.

Nah, I'm not painting anything yellow. I don't like the whole green and yellow color combo. But green and black is fine.

Yes he did. BTW, he was running brakeless because he only rides street, but my uncle decided he didn't like that. He drilled the hole in the seatstay bridge, and installed some caliper brakes.

The parts I know are:
Eastern frame. Lowdown I think?
Haro chromo bars.
Dyno forks.
Wellgo pedals.
Dyno seat.
Front wheel off my Mongoose.
FSA Pig headset. bearings anyways. We didn't change the cups.

I mean is that the color of that bike, or is it cream yellow? Looks awful.

I'm just going to make it look as good as I can. With no special stuff, just primer, paint, clear, done. If it's nice out tomorrow, I'm going to start painting.

I'm almost done. I have everything painted black, just need to do some clearcoat tomorrow. Then I'll put it together and take some pictures. I really hope it looks better.

Yeah, I'm not painting the frame or anything and that's how it is from now until...whenever I guess. It definitely looks better though I think.
