why one brake

okay i have a bmx bike but i like to cruise but might try tricks soon that were redoing now and ive seen many people with just one brake, the rear one. why is that. what does it do better missing one brake?

its just personal preference. you dont really need the front one unless you use it for certain tricks, so some people just like to have the back one. again, its all what you prefer

you dont need a front brake unless you are from the 1980s
