What makes a BMX seat a BMX seat?

Okay folks. I am pimping out this old Schwinn Varsity. Here's an idea what it looks like.

The black seat has got to go. I've put on white cable housings, so I'm leaning toward something with white in it, or going with a tan/orange saddle to match the frame/handlebar grips. I found these seats:

The description says:
Inspired by BMX saddles, the Park n' Ride Jump Saddle has a shorter and wider profile perfect for dirt jumping and street riding.
This will be a cruiser bike. I'm used to road bike seats and I have a bike that has an old Brooks B72 leather saddle. What makes a BMX saddle a BMX saddle? Will I be happy with this? Frankly, the current vinyl Schwinn cheapo is fine, but I want to jazz up the style of the bike a little.

If I get a white seat I'll switch over to white grips.

It is all about personal preferance. Most bmx seats aren't made for comfort since noone ever sits on them. However, those look fat so it should be decent.

they also look bigger than they appear in pictures. I usually have a b17 on my other bikes, and I got a slim shadow conspiracy saddle and that thing is small and slim. I have a Primo balance saddle that has some usable padding. Hopefully you can get a hold of those saddles before buying them.

You should spell things correctly and look at dates before you post.
