You just answered your own question. You can only do 90 degrees because you are afraid, and therefore hesitate to do full 180.

I suggest just going slow (If you go slow, it's very easy to bail.), then you have to turn slightly and jump (It's like doing a 'J' and hoping mid 'J'). Then when you jump, try looking backwards, your body should follow. Obviously you don't want to try flinging your head all crazy, but just looking back should help tons.

And get a Helmet, They will make you more confident knowing you won't hurt your head if you fall.

Use the foam pit at your local indoor park.

I haven't gotten very far with the turns yet but I learned how to grind... I was afraid to even try it because I knew I would more than likely eat it.. but I can do it pretty well now..

It took me a pretty long time to learn 180s, and i still only get them like 50% of the time, if that.
Same goes for Fakies, and if you can't fakie, learning 180s is pointless.

Use google for video, but it's basically going backwards. So you would 180, then have to fakie backwards, then turn out of it.

Here's a good video. Lets put it this way, i spend about a month learning to fakie and about a week to 180. So it's pretty hard.

Are you serious?
I can read every thing it says. I really only like it because it shows him what a fakie is, and a good way to start practicing (hitting a wall, and throwing weight backwards)

I guess. It might help more if you could actually read all of the steps.

Yes, it's when they are traveling backwards, then turnout of it and go forward again.

This morning I would ride my bike up my driveway a bunch, and right when I would get to the top of the incline I would pause and then like pop a wheelie kind of, and spin the bike around and go down the driveway. Is that a fakie or am I just wasting my time?

Not a fakie. Fakie is where you go backwards. If your bike isn't physically going backwards, you aren't doing a fakie.

Yes, that's what i said. And unless you have a free coaster, you will have to pedal backwards to avoid your driver from engaging.

I would be surprised if you did eat it, you only go like 2 miles an hour.
Try to do like in video in post #10, or just search "How to do a bmx fakie" on google

This board has rotted away into nothing...

To the OP, turn your head and neck further, look where you wanna spin and your body will follow.
