Fitting a 3 piece crank
I know roughly how to fit a crank but i want to make sure i do everything exactly right because i don't want to be buying another because i've bust the thing so does anyone know anywhere on the net where there is a step-by-step guide on fitting a 3 piece crank which i can use or adapt when fitting mine! Thank you!!

It depends on what your doing. Are you converting from a unsealed 1-peice or are you changing from unsealed to unsealed 3-peice or a un-sealed to a sealed 3-peice or a sealed to a sealed 3-peice? I would be glad to make instructions for any of these but I have never messed with sealed. I can find out for you though.

I've messed with them all, unsealed 1 piece, sealed 1 piece, unsealed 2 piece, and unsealed and sealed 3 piece, by all means, ask away, just be more specific as to what you're trying to do!!

Okay, your best bet would be to use a screw driver to bang out the old bearing cups then gently tap the new ones in going in a slow circle around the flat edge, then install the spindle and the bearings over that (remember to grease them at this point). At this point you will want to install the bearing race on the spindle and then the lock rings (loctite is helpful here). After this install the crank arms and whatever manner is used to affix the crank arms to the spindle. Now all you have to do is install the pedals, and remember the ones from your one piece cranks won't fit!
Good luck!!
