I didn't read much of that....

I often see kids at the park telling each other that one persons bike is better then the other persons and blah blah blah. but more often then not, neither one of the kids can ride to each of their bikes full potential.
meaning that, the riders skill are worse then the bike itself.

often times I hear kids saying how some bike sucks because this part stripped or came loose or broke. but usually it is a case of the rider not maintaining the bike. that is,they didn't keep stuff tight or lubed properly. so the bike broke or had problems because it was neglected.

there are three basic types of bmx bikes (or any other bike for that matter)
1. begginer
2. intermediate
3. pro

each has it's good points. the first cost very little money and is great for introducing a young person to the world of bikes. usually they are heavy and not designed to be ridden very hard.

so to say a bike that cost more is better does kind of make sense. they are usually designed for riders that really need their bike to hold up to aggressive riding.

but a kid that is just starting out doesn't need a high end bike.

bottom line is, the rider makes the bike. i've seen many many kids with expensive 'pro' bikes that can't ride them at all. dave mirra could ride any bike better then you and I. he has skills. you can't pay for skills. you earn them.

agreed. i like my haro. noa mtter what people say, "haro sucks" and stuff like that. hey thats your opinion, wait tell me, what frame did mirra pull a flairwhip on? a haro, did any bikes break at the x games? no. those pros are riding harder then anyone on any forum, and their bikes dont seem to brake. strange isnt it.

People like to bash on the big companies because they are just that: BIG! Kind of like bashing on America when you are from a foreign country, there usually isn't really good reasons, but people bash because the US is big.

Haro, in my opinion, makes some of the best bikes in line with the money you spend on them EXCEPT the M6/M7 which should be designed specifically for flatland and instead miss the mark significantly. For their street & dirt stuff they are pretty much dead on.

If you have 500 bucks to spend on a bike, then there are top notch Haros that pretty much are not matched by other bike builders out there in overall quality. You will get a lot of good parts and a decent frame to go with it.

Now, if someone says Haro sux, Standard Rox! Then they may be comparing a FRAME that costs over $300.00 to a complete BIKE that costs less than $300.00 Well, that's not a fair comparison! If you only have $300.00 to spend, then Standard sucks big time because you will have a pretty frame to look at while you can't ride because you are broke. It's like saying a Chevy Cavalier sucks, while a Lamborghini Diablo is good. That's a major DUH! But, I would rather drive a Cavalier, then pay the same amount for a couple of Diablo doors or some crap like that.

The next time someone tells you Haro sucks, tell them that you aren't stupid enough to buy overpriced crap from a company just trying to screw them over. THAT ought to get an interesting reaction from them.

haro do suck main reason for that is because they are mass made chinese made peices of crap that come out with crap parts and they are way to heavy to use for proper riding, brands like haro only release 1 really gud bike at a time and this is the pro model the 1 at the top of there line take all the parts off this bike and stick on some gud parts and u will hav urself a gud bike anything else will b a waste of time and i wouldnt say premium is 1 of the best brands around

blackbike- you said haros suck because they are too heavy for proper riding?

eight years ago, my friends and I all rode bikes that weighed about 40 pounds or more. we did every trick that was being done by anyone else at the time, handrails, truck drivers, tailwhips, manuals, nose picks, ice picks etc. weight is not as important as skills.

i have been riding the same haro frame for 2 years now and when i first got it it was a peice of crap but i could still beat the hell out of it and push it to the limit. now after fixing it up i still ride it as hard as i possible can and i havent had any problems. the fact is the rider makes the bike a kid riding a $100 bike could be better than someone riding a $800 bike. also alot of people over hype certian companies because who rides for them whether the product is good or bad. i think haro makes quality bike parts for a almost reasonable price. however it all depends on how u ride

I'm not big on haro. good for beginners.. I rode a haro when I started out.. but they aren't great. Especially if you ride street, your going to go through haro parts. They will last alot longer than alot of other cheaper parts, but they wont last as long as alot of parts you can buy for the same price that are made better.
