BMX bike for 6 year old

My daughter will be 6 in Feb. She's 48" tall and 52lbs. She would like a BMX bike for her birthday, and I'm wondering which one would suit her best. She wants to do racing, but our access to "real" BMX bikers is going to be slim to none (we live in farm country). I just want her to have a tough bike, useful, that she (if she wants to, in the future) can do some tricks or racing. Oh, and of all things, she'd like it to be blue. Yup, blue. I only have about $200 to spend. If she really gets into the BMX thing, we'll get her a better bike. So, what do you recommend?

Since she's so young, just find a 16 in. bike that she's interested in. Upgrade from there.

She already has a 16" bike that she's been riding (without training wheels), since she was 4. It's getting small for her. I was just wondering what beginner BMX bike would be best for her.

A Redline Roam or Raid would be a good choice. Either one is a decent beginners bike, are pretty small and come in blue. They both are right around $200, at least in my shop.

Is there a place online that sells the Raid? We have 2 bike shops in town, but none sell Redlines (diamondback, Trek and Specialized).

My LBS has their catalog out for all to look at.

Try this: https://www.redlinebicycles.com/

Even if there isn't a dealer in your town you can at least find one and look at the bottom credits, it also says Seattle Bike Supply.

I don't think you will find a website that sells them, not allowed as part of the dealer agreement. If you go to their site, you can search for a local dealer. If you can't find one, contact me at michaelscycles@rocketmail.com and I will see what I can do.
