sorry guys new bike requests again

Hi guys, sorry this is probably gonna be the same boring request you get all day every day on this forum but i'm looking at buying a complete bike and am not 100% sure what to get so i'm after some advice. I used to ride a bit in my teens which seem a long way off now! but haven't ridden for a while now. I'm a fairly big guy, 6ft and about 81kg so i don't know if that'd make any difference to what i should get. I'm looking at something to ride mostly street/parks and am thinking of spending around £160.00 i've seen the haro F4 for about that price and also the Mirra 540 Air on e-bay and on sale at around that too, what do you think? any other suggestions?
Oh yeah, i'm also after advice on essential protection gear as i'm a full time athlete in another sport and although i love bmx i don't want to wreck myself completely and be out of my sport (which is my job after all), all this taken into consideration that i'm a full time AMATUER athlete and so don't have loads of cash to spend. Any advice would be great. Cheers

£160.00 is about 300 in american right? its something around there... anyway for protective gear you need knee pads, a helmet, and you can have a chin pad if you want and there is wrist pads also. well where do u live so i can find some bike places around in your area that sells gear? if i were you i would look for an 03 haro since the new ones are pretty expensive. The F4 is a nice bike also. Personally out of the mirra series I like the mirra pro because of the way everything is put together on it and its not that heavy. If your riding street/parks i would most likely get one out of the mirra series or even the freestyle series. any questions just ask.

i live in edinburgh, i'm sure if there aren't any plces to buy gear nearby then i can get protective gear off the net. Thanks for the advice-you reckon something from the mirra pro series would be a good idea then? I've seen a new 2003 mira 540 air on sale for about £170 on the net, they said it should be £250 but is in a sale. Is the 540 a much better bike than the F4?

yea thats what i was going to say get some gear off the net or something. The Mirra Series is for street/park. The 540 air is about the same weight as the F4 and they pretty much have the same features on them. I'd say they are about the same, they are both nice bikes.
