First BMX for soon to be 7 year old
Hi,
I am about to buy my soon to be 7yr old son his 1st bmx and would like some advice from the experts please. My oh used to 'BMX' ?? many moons ago and he says that we should be getting him a 3 piece crank, however these don't seem to be very popular here in the uk as far as I can see. We have seen a couple of bikes that I like the look off (I am not willing to pay more than £150 for a 7 year old) they are a Piranha 300 https://www.bikes2udirect.com/B2937.html and a diamond back session mag https://www.bikes2udirect.com/B3009.html. My ds likes the fancy wheels
Just wondering what if any of these would be the best bet?

I like this one instead tho, to much plastic and steel in ahjs, and this one is only 20 pounds more. if you compare the old haros with the new, you see that the older ones have more full cromo frames and lighter aluminum parts, sealed bearings and less hi-ten steel and plastic. I think my fav is the 2007 X-03, built like a tank, full cromo frame/forks, Sun Rhino Lite rims..
