What happened to this forum?

Why did it become so lifeless here? What happened to everyone? Whered the regulars go?

It was always a small bored, but it atleast had a pulse, this is plain dead.

What happened to Expatriate (sp?)?, kinetic?, mude? I believe Beerman became CMcMahon?, eightdip? there were quite a few others but the names don't come to mind right now. Minichamp stuck around...I remember when you joined lol.

Now it just seems like every few days someone joins to ask which terribly crappy bike to pick from a department store and then leaves before their 5th post....I guess its better than the constant disc brake question though

I wish there was a way to just give the board life.

its pretty much become a place for general questions about bmx from parents, those who are interested in bmx bikes for the compact size more than actually riding bmx or just people unwilling to take 2 seconds to search for the answer on their own. this board always seemed to have its ups and downs regarding its activity. it just hasnt started going back up in a while.

A lot of people got busy with their lives and possibly stopped riding. Tell your friends to join or something for more life.

None of my friends ride any more. We all stopped a few years back and they have no interest in starting back up. It is kind of boring riding solo, but I just try to keep myself motivated...might be time for a ipod.

HEY! I'm back, although to be honest probably only for a quick visit. I still ride with kinetic occasionally. He rides and digs every day and I just can't seem to find (or maybe make) time to get at it more than a few times every couple weeks. It kinda sucks but for some reason I seem to have lost so much motivation. Sometimes I really just want to get on my bike though. I miss riding every day.

Whats been crackin on these boards?

Yeah I know what you mean. When I joined here, there was new posts all the time and the regulars were cool and there was a lot of good info and not a ton of n00bs. Kinetik, mude, WTP, CMcMahon, Premium (something like that), Fit, etc. I get annoyed every time I come on here because it's a lot of repetitive questions. I go on BMX-F a lot and it's the same way, only on a larger scale. I still ride a lot, but I haven't been lately because I broke my collar bone. I usually only come here when I'm really bored now.

Yea I havent been riding much this week since earlier this week I went straight threw a telephone pole... mild concusion, sore neck/back, torn ligaments in my right knee, and a chipped bone in my thumb.

That sounds pretty harsh. I should be riding again by next week, it's my final check-up and I should be cleared.

I hope you crashed doing something sweet. I've been meaning to get to the track since it got rebuilt but my card is expired and I don't have money. Plus it is waaayy too hot to go at scheduled times.

Ahh, I wish I could say I was doing something cooler than manualing through the rythms slowly, nosecasing, and going otb and landing on my shoulder.
