Old-school RE Racing chainring adapter - question

Quick question regarind the RE Racing piece on the left:

Were they re-badged under any other name (seeing that they're Taiwanese), or were they always produced under the RE Racing name? Would the other white adapter also be an RE product?

Thanks.

Take care,

-Kurt

Most of the older bmx stuff was rebadged, sometimes it is tough to figure out who actually made it. Those two likely are from the same factory but may have been sold under different names. Just look how many different names were under the SR banner.
On closer look at the pictures they are not identical, but one may be copied stylistically from the other.
Whatcha building?

Yeah, I owned one of those with a Sakae Ringyo stamp on it. The right hand one in the bag.

Yeah, back then, once something proved popular you could guarantee at least 3 cheaper copies within 6 months to a year, sometimes sooner. Probably all from the same factory.
