If you are sticking with flatland, then stick with 3/8" axles - they have a similar set, same price with 3/8". I ride very limited street on my flat bike, but have never broken an axle on it in two years and they are Kink/Standard 3/8 axles. Rock solid!

<<dont let the newbie thing fool u! im only a newbie to these forums..anyway those are some good rims mate! they are quite heavy but that shouldnt really effect you if your riding flatland

It only weighs four more ounces than a Hazard Light. That's not even all that noticeable of a difference.
