redline bike?

hi im new to the forums. I was shopping for a bike yesterday and found a used redline bike for $220.good price? it was really light and im a pretty big guy would it support me? also i kinda plan on messing around on it like tricks and stuff and i was looking at the redline site and seen that they have race bikes and bmx bikes and idk what the one i saw was, if it were a race bike would i still be able to do this or would it be a problem?

Aluminum, it's priced @ $ 340-350 on-line as new. You'd be saving $ 120+ for perhaps a rarely ridden bike.

But, being aluminum, its made more for racing, and it won't hold up very well to street abuse.

Its not necessarily too much for it, but as you continue to do it, its going to weaken and end up breaking a lot faster.

If you wanna know how much weight it'll hold, start eating, and let us know when it breaks. Other than that, how much do you weigh?

It should be fine for a little while of learning how to bunnyhop and maybe even 180, but I wouldn't try to put it through too much.
