Hard Anodizing?
I want to get my rear wheel hard anodized so my brakes don't make my ears bleed every time I use them.
Anybody know about how much this would cost?

Switch to some darker slightly harder duro pads, you'll lose some holding and braking power but it shouldn't be so loud.

There's your problem. Those clear compound pads may have tons of grip, but they squeal like banshees, no matter what kind of rims you have. Check out Cool Stop, either salmon or red compound pads. They're grippier than black, but can be adjusted not to squeak.

Those still squeel on a chrome rim. I was running black Van Brake Shoes for a long time and my brakes were great.
