Stripped Crank Arm
my crank arm is f555ed. 
i wiped and my pedal hit a 1/4 pipe at a wrong angle and it stripped the pedal right out the thread of the crank arm. the pedal's threads are still wicked cool but the crankarm is f555ed. 
any suggestions or must i but a new one? which is a good crankarm in your opinion?

The only thing that might work is a "tap and die" tool, wich is a hardened steel bolt that you thread through the bad thread and it cleans the threads up. But I have no idea if they even make a 9/16. Check your local hardware store to get a set of them for about 20 bucks or so.

The only potential issue with the tap and die solution is that the metal is weakened, and if you can retap to the original size, the resulting thread may be too weak to hold the pedal...especially if you're ramp riding like you mentioned. You can retap to a larger diameter, but you'll then need to find a shim to convert the pedal threads to a larger size. The ideal fix is a new crank arm or new cranks altogether (Oldschool Redline flights are my fave).
