It's a Murray - More or less like a Huffy... one half step ahead of your local Wal-Mart.

Barely.

I knew that name sounded familiar; I remember seeing an ad for them in BMX Plus about five years ago. It had something to do with running over mimes and how you shouldn't copy them, which I thought was a bit funny, since no real BMX company would ever copy a design from Murray.

I've said this in another thread, but since you're asking in this one; I ride a 2004 F3 Haro Freestyle bike, and it's a really good one. (At least I think) I was wondering, is it a good bike?

Oh was this tread about what kind of riding we do, or what kind of bike we ride? Hey Jusin Time, if you wanted to know what bikes we ride, there was another thread already started. But if you wanted your own, it's ok.

It's an entry level bike. It's like asking if a Cavalier is a good car. It's a car, it gets you from point A to point B... It's not a bad car, but it's not a Corvette, and it's a long way from a nice Mercedes.

What you have is basic good entry level freestyle. Way above Wal-Mart, but far from custom. That is almost a general rule for bikes between $200 and $300 in the USA.

Well, no bike is perfect for anything, so as far as I know we won't be able to recomend any bike for you that is perfect for wheelies. My bike's not made for wheelies specificly, but I do manuals and wheelies on it all the time. It's just a matter of getting used to your bike; the more you ride, the more familiar you become with any bike. And I don't know what kind of stores you have in India, so I wouldn't know what bikes they have so therefore I cannot recomend anything until I know that. And if you can post on this website, that means you have some sort of internet conection, am I right? Well if you do then, why not just find a site you can order bikes from, that can deliver worldwide? I'm not sure if there is any that you can order worldwide from, but it's worth a try!

i ride a bike formerly known as a Mongoose. I'm embarrassed to say i actually bought a Mongoose. but no worries, as the junk parts it has are breaking at a hell of a rate, i almost have a fully custom bike. it rides very nice now. just need to get rid of my Mongoose frame.... suggestions will be accepted on how to make it look like an "accident"

You should have luck ordering a PovertyBuck99 of Danscomp. Its not a bad bike and comes with decent parts and its like $180-$220

No, gearing on bmx bikes is not a good idea. Most are not designed to even accept any form of gearing.
