    1984 CW Race Bike Questions

We picked up this bike & a Phase One frame & forks. At least I think its a Phase One. It has a Z downtube frame
I don't know much about them but pretty sure it's a rare one and a survivor.

    Anybody know anything about them?

    thanks all

Not many people on these boards are into older bikes, so an answer could take quite a while to surface. Try over at BMXmuseum, those guys are wizards.

If that is really a CW, they were considered pretty decent and fairly light frames for the time. I am curious as to why there are two seat clamps opposing one another on the seat tube...There were quite a few frames out that looked a lot like a CW and I honestly cannot recall if they stamped the frame or not. Either way, it looks like a darned decent example of a bike I might have raced around the BMX track back in the day. If you find anything out more definitive please update.

I rocked some serious BMX back in the day and your bike looks nothing like with C&W bars
