Mongoose BMX
What's the difference between bmx mongoose scan R10-R70? I notice that the higher the "R" number, the more expensive it is.

The 70 is made out of MUCH better parts/frame material. So its worth the difference in cost. But I still wouldn't touch Mongoose, no matter what the specs are.

It may be **** now, but back in the day when I was a kid mongoose was up there with all the other top brand name BMX bikes. I guess you're to young to know.

So what do you think a 1983 vintage Hutch Pro Racer is worth?
BTW - I raced on the original mongoose with motomags, an first generation supergoose, and a first generation pro-class (as well as the Hutch, a custom Cycle Craft ProXL, and a Profile cruiser)
