Need Help With BMX Tire
Hello everyone , I Recently am getting a 20 x 2.25 Tioga Streeblock Tire , my rim is 20 x 1.75 . I asked the seller if the tire could fit my rim , he said that it's possible and most BMX standard size rim are 20 x 1.75 . I Need some help whether it will really fit . Thanks

It'll fit, fine. 20 x 1.75 is all the wider they make BMX rims. That's what the rims on both my BMX bikes are, and they've all got tires that are wider than 1.75". Don't remember what sizes I've got my street bike, but the front tire on my trail bike is 20 x 2.25.

better reference ETRO numbers ..
406 is the common 20" 2nd number is the width 47 is like a 1.75"
that would be imprinted on the side of the tire itself.
I use Schwalbe Marathon Plus 406-47 tires
(Bike Friday adopted the BMX sized wheel for their travel bikes)
FWIW, your rim should be narrower than your tire width ..
