I was watching an old props video on fuel, and there are a bunch of guys doing some ill tricks on a general lee frame.Was the general lee always a complete bike, or was it originally sold as a frame? if it was sold as a frame , was it good? The general lee is now a trimoly frame, and it basically sucks. I've only been riding about a year, so i don't know much about frames before 2003

Yes, the General Lee used to be a full 4130 frame that was sold separately (or maybe it came as a frame/fork package - I forget).

It was considered one of the best frames for the longest time, it was sold individually as a frame and as a complete bike. Taj rode one for a long time in his downtime between getting off of Hoffman and getting his first T1.
