I believe you missed the point The album covers recreated there are all other peoples albums, most are pretty iconic

Plus it's a pretty good song in and of itself.

I did not miss the point at all...I did not recognize any of the covers, they were all from a type of noise that I never listened to..
and as to whether or not what followed was a pretty good song in itself,,,, is a matter of taste, and it does not suit mine...
but I am sure that there are folks who enjoyed it.

Wow, time to play guess your age, you are most certainly younger than 30.

Some you should recognize, but most are 70's early 80's.

Both of the Springsteen album covers were spot on, as was the Tom Waits one.

I've never heard of Captain Mattson's Trout Avalanche but Captain Beefheart was an obscure "artist" from the late '60s and "Trout Mask Replica" was identical in every other respect to the cover at 1:07 of the video.

Not very easy on the ear as I recall but you could say that about Blue Cheer and a few more relatively more contemporary "musicians". Someone offered theirs to me for free once and I declined. Probably a damned collectors item now with my luck.

I agree that the song was a bit on the unlikable side.

But, as for the game: I think I recognized about ten album covers. Weird though seeing a white guy in a white suit doing a Michael Jackson pose on Thriller.

He takes liberties with the titles, but the album covers are spot on.

Cool. You'd have to be really high to listen to Glen nowadays.....Too high to get up off the couch and change the station.

I am due for a trip to Sound Garden in Fells Point, time to re-up my hipster cred and buy about 12 albums from the artists at Newport Folk this year.
