I just finished "French Leave," P. G. Wodehouse. I recommend it highly. The way he pulls things together is really dazzling.

Just finished A Dance with Dragons the fifth book in the Game of Thrones series. The whole series is great. Now I'm on to One Hundred Years of Solitude. A guy at work wants me to read it and let him know what I think.

100 Years of Solitude. . . sigh, I love the writing style, I hate his books.
Love in the Time of Cholera was another, both snoozers for me.
Reading Jim Butcher "The Dresden Files" fun mindless summer reading.

I want to shout out loud:

Ross Thomas

This writer is the most engaging, compelling and just pleasurable author I have come across in years.

His page turning work is far better than the likes of Grisham, more like Raymond Chandler but more surprising and witty.

Briarpatch

A Chinaman's Chance

Cast a Yellow Shadow

Twilight at Mac's Place

Out on the Rim

The Cold War Swap

All EXCELLENT!
