Either way, there is still a whole lot of music that is released only on vinyl, or on both CD and vinyl. I just wish this release in particular had been pressed on vinyl, like almost all of their other releases. And yes, I live on a ground floor...actually, I live sub-level. The bottom three or four feet of my apartment are underground, with windows along the top half.
Haven't owned a record player in years, since ~'89 or so. When CD's showed up, I embraced them almost immediately. Sound good, take up less space, and they're shiny. I actually listen to mp3's more than anything else. The only vinyl I own is Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile(never been opened anyway) and the only cassette is Broken--can't even play them(no tape deck, either). To each their own. I was curious about your living conditions cuz, if you have as much vinyl as I think you do, it could probably collapse a building....

Alice In Chains - Facelift I remember playing this almost non-stop for weeks when it came out. Good stuff!
