Actually I haven't heard it, i'll have to look around for it.
Anyway ... starting off the day with Underworld - Everything Everything
That's interesting, I've been listening to this regularly the last couple of evenings, it's been one of my favorite jazz albums for many years.Originally Posted by gonesh9

It is DJ Shadow. Just watched it. It's pretty cool. Through it's symbolism it's as if the guy does the reverse of Christ in some mystical way. Not sure what to think of it, morally, but very powerful stuff.Originally Posted by

Franz Ferdinand (s/t)
Far and away one of the best cd's to come out in the past 5 years. Absolutley phenomenal. But i can't decide if i like that or The Postal Service more...Originally Posted by Moistfly

So few listeners hear the likes of Eddie...Both performers had sharp rebukes to the quality of American radio and strong praise for our local independent radio station.(They play their music, unlike so many chain owned stations that think a performer has only released maybe 2-3 songs.) w/o the independence of our local independent, doubt I would have know of Eddie.
So throughout the night, Eddie's cd was played and replayed by vistors who went to the concert with us...Think I know the lyrics after all those replays...With the one female visitor who attended, Eddie seems a real crooner with the woman.

right now i'd say its better than transatlanticism, but like i said i go back and forth. Definitely a differnt sound, more electronic, less rock-and-roll, but amazing. I love it. If you like ben gibbard's coie as much as i do, you'll dig the cd. Pick it up.Originally Posted by Moistfly
Postal Service incorporates old-schoolesque video games sounds into the music. INteresting, yet catchy
Nightmares on Wax - Smokers Delight
Now, it's Black Eyed Peas, and Styx. Every so often, I like to dig up the old stuff to balance out the new stuff. Styx rocks!
