well said. Same goes for the Kinks and how FF sounds strkingly familiar to some of the Kinks works.FF is right on track for "Flash in the Pan" status. But their music is still catchy...must be the derivations.

YES!!! - SGS is by far the one to listen to if you want a good representation of what Buzzcocks are about - lately I've been doing TTT (trade test transmissions)

Well, because it's tribal trance - a combination of two generally laughable genres outside the few artists that actually do something good and original.

Crosby, Stills and Nash-Their eponymous first album. This was the first album I ever owned, a present from my uncle and erstwhile aunt when I was a wee lad. I sold off all my vinyl years ago, but had to have this on CD. It's a damn fine album and holds up with age. C, S, and N (along with Neil Young) in their various iterations, have made a lot of good music through the years and some that was pathetically bad. Their first gig was at Woodstock. They are true rock and roll survivors. For all that and all that, their first album was as good as any that came after.

Good stuff for a mellow night.
