A conversation I recently overheard:

"He really likes Zebulon Pike."

"They're kind of...."

"Yeah, he said they're not everyone's thing."

"Well, at least if he knows that then I guess he might be okay."

Hank Williams (Sr. though that should go without saying): 20 of Hank Williams Greatest Hits.

I heard "Your Cheatin' Heart: in a Pepsi commercial today and it gave me a hankerin' for old Hank.

Does anyone remember a commercial (for Amazon, I think) with a noviate nun, a Walkman and a Hank Williams CD? Funny stuff.

Hank Williams is arguably the man who invented Rock N Roll. If you don't believe me listen to "Move It On Over" back to back with "Rock Around the Clock."

Or maybe not.

[QUOTE='[165]']Skitbraviking and I plan on Saturday attendance.

Thinking about it - have a possible something else that just came up that weekend - waiting to hear whether it's going to be the Friday or Saturday - but I was planning on going this year

Saw a sig line today at work about "Peacemaker" - needless to say I had to come home and put on "All Rise" - I tried to resist but the line kept going round and round in my head - needed to exorcise it

My musical tastes are extremely varied. But right now in my cd case I have everything from the Disco Hits of the 70's collection to Eminem's Marshal Marthers LP
