    Country, classic rock, and of course the jam bands (Grateful Dead, Widespread Panic, Phish and the like).

    I'm really into Little Feat now, the Allman Bros. are amazing as always. Jimmy Buffett's always fun to chill out with.

    I'm also really enjoying Bruce Springsteen's "The Rising." It's really a great album I recommend you all pick it up.

    In Spain last summer I picked up this CD called "Disco Estrella", it has all the big Euro-pop songs. I guess it's kind of comparable to the NOW series here in the states. It's not really my taste in music, but it's catchy and fun to pop in every now and then.

    I've been listening to a lot of Indie/Pop-Rock the last few days, after finding out that SubCity records sells all the vinyl they ever put out, including the masterpieces that are the first two Weakerthans LPs, for four bucks postage-paid.

    Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea (MP3s)
    The Promise Ring - Thirty Degrees Everywhere (MP3s), Nothing Feels Good (MP3s)
    Texas is the Reason - Self-Titled (MP3s), Do You Know Who You Are? (MP3s)
    The Weakerthans - Fallow (MP3s), Left and Leaving (MP3s)

    I'll be picking all of these up on vinyl after the holidays...a little variety in my collection for once.

    Woah, $4, thats really cheap i need to order some Lps from them. Neutral milk hotel is so good, so are the weakerthans. I was actually just listening to "On avery Island," it is so good, so it "in a aeroplance over the sea"
    I saw the weakerthans about a month, it was so good. Those first two albums truley are masterpieces, espesially Left and leaving.

    I saw the Weakerthans in 2002 and it's hands-down the single best show I've ever been to that wasn't in a basement or house. John played a few of his solo songs and made jokes about the Red Wings. They played almost every song from Left & Leaving, three or four of the poppier songs from Fallow, and three songs that would eventually be on Reconstruction Site. All the guys in the band are really funny dudes, and John is one of my favourite lyricists ever (only topped by Tim Kinsella, CaP'n Jazz-era). I can't get into Reconstruction Site, but a few songs are pretty good. Either way, they were one of maybe six bands that I listened to throughout eighth grade.
