Wow, Stone Mountain. I grew up there, went to school at Redan High. Lived around South Harriston and Redan Road. I now have no home - in the military, in the middle east right now.

Antioch Arrow doesn't so much for me. I own all of their records (except the split with Candle), but I only listen to the first one, and even then it's extremely rare that I do so. I think, as far as the San Diego/Cupertina scene goes, they were one of the worst.

snickersnicker: you seem pretty well versed in early 90's HC; especially considering you're how old, 16? it's commendable, to be sure. now, you mentioned second story window, who i have always wanted to hear, but've never come across. did they release anything on CD?

what other gravity acts are you into?

Yup, sixteen; seventeen in March. Second Story Window was members of Heroin and Clikatat Ikatowi. They might've also had a member of Antioch Arrow...it's really hard to tell, considering how inbred that scene was. They put out a 7" and an LP, both on Gravity Records. I think this was around 1992/1993? The 7" was Gravity #10, and the LP was #15, so that sounds about right. Maybe 1994. They don't have anything on CD, and both records are out-of-print, but if you have SoulSeek, you can download both records from me. I rip all my vinyl into MP3 form.

Gravity records stuff I dig: Heroin, Born Against, Universal Order of Armageddon, Mohinder, JohnHenryWest, Clikatat Ikatowi, Men's Recovery Project, Lava, Evergreen, Tristeza...I'm sure there's more. With the exception of Tristeza, pretty much everything they've put out recently hasn't been to my liking. I really wish Reach Out had put some material out on Gravity, because they were really really awesome and really really overlooked. Much better than Angel Hair or Antioch Arrow or Honeywell ever could've been.

Anyway, record store scores for today (and my listening habits for tonight):

7"
Agna Moraine's Autobiography / RentAmerica split
Bright Calm Blue - Self-Titled
Funeral Diner / Raein split
V/A - Tour Diary (Moonraker, Don's Ex-Girlfriend, Tired From Now On, Highway 66)

12"
Dead City / Funeral Diner split
DROPDEAD - Early Discography
Funeral Diner - Difference of Potential
His Hero is Gone - The Plot Sickens: Enslavement Redefined

Only a couple more His Hero is Gone records and I've got everything...
