How can you use those two words together in the same sentence. Booty is fine, the weather is fine, sandpaper is fine, but unfortunatly my friend... rap is NOT fine. It's not even music. Yech!

Ok, I'll give you that... its got good beats.

But to all of those who chose to deride me, in order to qualify as 'music' don't some instruments need to be played? I don't believe that sampling someone elses work, scratching, poping or spitting on a microphone quite qualifies. Nor does some punk azzsd ****** bag with a attitude he bought at Woolworth's fror 50 cents screaming at me about 'cappin' nigaz' quite cut the mustard as lyrics.

Now, if you care... I do consider the efforts of Messers. Bach, Vivaldi, Stravinsky, Greig et al to quite nicely fit my haughty criteria for music. As do the efforts of The Grateful Dead, Fairport Convention, Frank Zappa, BB King, Kenny Wayne Sheppard etc.

If rap isn't music to you, you haven't heard decent rap. Go find some J-Live, Sage Francis, Æsop Rock, Mr Lif, Blackalicious, etc.

    Anyway...
