I've got a copy of Good Old Boys..... I really like that one. If you like Little Criminals, wanna trade for something? If so, shoot me a PM.

Just finished listening to J.J. Cale - Okie. Some good stuff, there.

Let me think on that a bit....one of my favorites is Randy Newman Live from 1970.
I'm thinking of getting Original Album Series has self titled debut, 12 songs, Sail Away, Good Old Boys, and Little Criminals as a
box set, unfortunately only available as CDs....but less than $20 from amazon

Listened to (in no particular order)
Partick Sky Harvest of Gentle Clang
Richard and Mimi Farina Reflections in a Crystal Wind
Ten Years After Cricklewood Green

Love that album! It'd definitely be in my top ten, possibly my top five.

This morning I'm listening to Overhead at Darrington.
http://bruceharvie.bandcamp.com/albu...-at-darrington

The concept sounds potentially dreadful, but it's great, fun party record.

Started with a girl theme today:

Emmylou Harris - Elite Hotel

Linda Rhonstadt - Different Drum

And then finished up with Warren Zevon - Excitable Boy

I expect to be in a Roy Buchannan/Delbert McClinton frame of mind pretty soon....

Something a little different today. I found a copy of Tanya Tucker - TNT for a buck at the local thrift. Initially I was going to pass, but several little things conspired to coerce the dollar bill out of my pocket:

1) the record was clean.
2) on side 1, there are covers of Heartbreak Hotel and Angel From Montgomery.
3) the inside cover has to be seen to be appreciated properly.

It's a classic :

Turns out, it's a pretty good LP!

Right now, The Beatles - Rubber Soul

They're a good band and historically significant and all........ but I'm thinking a tad overrated.
