    Slaying the Badger

If you have not read it, Slaying the Badger is the story of the battle between Greg LeMond and Bernard Hinault in the 1986 Tour de France. I read it on the Kindle Fire HD. Excellent behind the scenes look into, perhaps, the greatest rivalry in the history of the Tour.

Nice book, but "the greatest rivalry in the history of the Tour? Hardly. What about Anquetil/Poulidor, Coppi/Bartali, Merckx/Ocana? leMond and Hinault were really only in competition with each other for that one race.
There have been many days when I haven't felt like riding, but there has never been a day when I was sorry I rode.
