If you are around the Omaha area the Jim Johnston Memorial ride is next weekend. Here's some information on the ride.

He was a cyclist that had just retired from my daughter's high school. He was struck by a car driven by an 82 year old lady who swerved around a left turning car and into his path on the shoulder, on the other side of the highway.
