Sponsorship Needed - Oxfam Cambodia / Vietnam Ride

Hi

I am embarking on a 400km bike ride in November / December time for Oxfam. Here is the link:

https://www.oxfam.org.uk/what_you_can...s/cambodia.htm

You need to raise £3,000, half of which goes to Oxfam and half covers the cost of the trip.

I am looking for corporate sponsorship from companies. In return myself and a friend (who is in Marketing) will be able to give the companies free publicity in local press, the Leeds Guide and Yorkshire based papers and we are working on other avenues also.

This could be an excellent way to get a companies name out there and especially for any bike retailer (online or a shop).

Does anyone have any contacts within the trade or could give advice on how to go about getting the cash??

Also thanks to all who gave advice on buying a Giant XTC 4.5 from Tredz, bargain at £400 and have just bought one, cant wait to get to Cannock Chase next weekend on the trails!!

Cheers

Sanjay
