Smile Philadelphia to the Jersey shore fixed ride/charity

Hey guys,
My name is Ryan, I am 20 years old and I currently go to school in Philadelphia, PA. This summer, around mid June or mid July, my friend and I were interested in riding our fixies from here to a beach in New Jersey, probably Ocean City, Wildwood, or Cape May. We wanted to raise money to do this for a charity, but we have no idea how to do this. So my question is

How do we raise money and set this whole trip up?
What things do we need to consider?
What else is there to know about riding this far?

And also, if anyone else is interested in making the trip, it would be awesome! please let me know, thanks a lot. -Ryan

Hey Ryan,
I to am 20 years old and I go to school in Montgomery County. If you are interested you could join in on the MS150 City to shore bike ride with thousands of other participants. We ride from the city down to Ocean City, NJ where they have food and a free dinner for the participants. It is a two day event 75 miles down and 75 back unless if you want to join with us for the century ride which is 100miles down. As for fund raising I find the best place to look is family and those small family owned shops around you. You will need money for finding a motel or hotel to stay in for the night. As for food they offer plenty for you to be happy, and they have plenty of stops and more food then you could ever imagine during the ride. If you have any questions feel free to ask here or PM me
