Cycling across the country for the awareness of disabilities and to give out grants
Good Morning/Evening.
I am cycling 4,000 miles across America in 64 days for the awareness of disabilities and to give out grants to local organizations who's purpose is to sever those with disability. I am riding out with 90 other men and we have a fundraising goal of $600,000. This event is called the Journey of Hope and is going on it's 26th year. Each year we raise well over our goal!
Push America is very special to me as a charity. I have dyslexia and I've spent my life around many people with all kinds of disabilities. The general public may be advocates, but not many people spend the time to understand someone with a disability. One of the main reasons, the main driving force to why I have volunteered my whole summer for this bike ride is that we start a 6:00 am and ride till noon, and then spend the rest of the day with people who has disabilities. Playing sports with them, board games, just talking to them. That's where I really want to make my impact. Just take a short 5 minutes to watch this video from a cyclist who did it last year.
We are looking for tax deducible donations as well as corporate sponsorship. Even a penny can really go a long way as the cost of the trip is covered so we use 97% of the money we raise for grants to these local organizations. These organizations then buy new equipment, food, upgrade their facilities or use it to directly sever someone who has been diagnosed with a disability.
Please help me achieve my goal of $6,000 for my team! Really even a penny helps! It would mean the world to both me, and hundreds of people who have been diagnosed with a disability.

Thank you for reading untill the end, even if you don't donate to me, remember that there are still good people in the world. It takes a small ground of people to change the world.
