Charity ride to beat cancer

Hi all,

I am doing a 70 mile charity ride for cancer research. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society and was hoping the bike forums community might be interested in helping out. Any amount you can donate goes a long way towards finally finding a cure for cancer.

https://main.acsevents.org/goto/gjc

Thanks for the support.
Greg

here you go!

Where does my donation go?
  • Each donation made in association with Bicycles Battling Cancer goes to support the American Cancer Society's goal to save lives and create a world with more birthdays. The American Cancer Society is proud to have some of the lowest overhead and administrative costs in the non-profit industry which means that more of your dollars go to our mission of fighting cancer.

Not that it's your fault, but that^^ is not a real answer to pdedes question.

I think he was asking what % of the donations raised by Bicycles Battling Cancer actually goes to ACS.

But I'll stop there because I don't want to derail your thread into a referendum on the economics & relative merits of not-for-profit events.
