Between 2008 and 2012, domestic violence calls to police in DVSN’s eleven suburban partner towns increased 68 % to nearly 12 cases per week. In the same period, victims helped by DVSN rose more than 80% to 52 per month.

    Hi Bawb!
It is good to meet you ;-)
Have you heard of Cycle The Wave/Boston? It is a June event so no danger of the two events running into each other ( so to speak) but I wanted to tell you about it as it is a fund-raiser for DV prevention and awareness, similar to the Hope...ride. Here is a bit:

Now in its 6th year, Cycle the WAVE in Seattle, WA, is thrilled to partner with Web of Benefit, Inc. to bring Cycle the WAVE Massachusetts to the greater Boston and Metro West communities and support domestic violence programs.

Hope this is something that can be of use.
    Be well!
