Assistance to identify 70's Peugeot
Hi there,
I have an old Peugeot from the 70's which is gathering dust in garage since my back packed up in 2001. It looks kinda like a PX10 but it isn't because apparently the lugwork is wrong.
I've been poking around the various sites dedicated to classic Peugeots and while there are plenty out there to say what the bike _isn't_ I can't find anything that tells me what it _is_.
Since I'm going to sell it so it goes to a good home, I need to know what I should ask for it. I'm in Melbourne Australia and the bike was originally imported/assembled/whatever by Progress Cycles in Windsor according to the stickers, so someone may already know the answer.
Does anyone know of a good site to identify a Peugot of this vintage? Picture attached.

+2 UE8 basically a entry level light touring model. In fairly rough shape about $100 in most markets.

Still learning
Early 1970's edition from the graphics and components. Given the tattered bar tape, poor paint condition, apparent rust on frame, rims, and likely cables, it will require a formidable amount of time and money to make it in good nick.
FMV in my opinion in an active bike market would be $35-$75 as pictured.

Lots of Peugeots are mistaken for PX-10s because the paint and decal work was virtually the same from bottom of the line to top. It's probably the most mis-identified bike in existence. And of course, everyone wants their Peugeot to be a PX-10.
