Trek 660 with Campy derailleurs and crank

My buddy has a Trek 660 that he bought new. It appears to be about 58cm. Always stored inside. No rust, just dusty. Obviously, it needs brake hoods, tires and tubes. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Bob

Worth $250 as shown, $350 if lubed, tuned and ready to ride.

Those numbers are low in my area...$500 with a quality ad and fixed up, 300-350 as it sits.

Same here. Campy and 531 is the difference. Paint looks to be sharp.

+1

I don't know if I could get $500 around here but $400 certainly seems realistic.

You're correct. I missed that the back rim is a Matrix replacement.

Right on. Campy NR stuff is not cheap these days so that ranks a bike into the 300.00 range for me. Vintage Treks also command a premium as is reflective in what the others said. Nice racer!

Definately not a good pic for sales. Dry it and put a wax on it.

Clearly it's just been hosed off.

OP, I think that is a $400-$500 bike if tuned up.

The rear rim looks like a Matrix ISO-C aero rim, introduced in about 1988 and standard equipment on the 1988 660.
