Raleigh DL-1
What do you think FMV might be for a (unknown year) Raleigh DL-1 that is showing rust?
I haven't seen the bike in person, only this blurry pic.

I think the seller is asking too much for it ($200) and currently i'm offering too little ($50).

It depends to a large degree upon your location. The loop frame models should command a higher dollar. $100-$150 IMHO as shown.

USA, midwest is a big area, with wide ranging demographics ranging from Gary, IN to Bloomfield Hills, MI.
This is a late 1970's bought a week ago. I think the seller needed to make his June Rent, so I got it cheap, probably 1/3 of FMV.
Photo is after 30 minutes for a quick wipe down, Zymol, and some rust cleanup on the rims. Also, the Brooks was added this morning as well.

What you're looking at as it is in Chicago should be worth $125 +/- $25. Cleaned up, a ready to ride loop frame DL-1 should be worth $300 or better if it is super clean.
Ebay usually gets higher prices than local, but it is largely unpredictable.

Ok thanks.
I'll pass on this.
I wouldn't be taking the bike to flip, as I hate online trading (as a seller).
And I can't really justify $100 on another bike atm.
If the deal was sweet, well then that's another story.
