I wonder. Most folks aren't keen on Arabesque components. I like the 600EX freewheels, though.

I've seen the brakes, levers, derailleurs and shifters (no cranks) go for as little as $100 and as much as $175.

The price depends on the condition of the components. Arabesque componentry has been getting more expensive on ebay but to fetch top price for them they have to be in very good condition - low miles, no damage, pantograph still in tact in all the engraving.

i am!!

i much prefer campy though. and maybe cyclone on touring bikes.

there's one guy here that hates arabesque. it killed his dog or something. i've had two bikes with it, and it all worked great.

there's currently a "nice" beater on seattle craigs with a full arabesque group, selling for $75. it needs a helluva lot of work, but i'm sure it would polish up nicely. i may buy it if i get really bored, as the headset is worth that alone.

I recently sold off a group of this "stuff". Crankset, long cage and short cage RD, FD, BB cable guide, shifters, two sets of brakes/levers, and a headset. Got $165 clear, and I was happy to be rid of it. Frankly, unimpressed. IMHO, Light Action shifts just as good, if not better.

I have sold many Arabesque groups...all go in the 150 range on eBay it seems...but...you can look up the eBay sold listings and get current prices.

As for how it works, I have never had a problem with it...

I have also cleared $150 for a group on eBay before. I was also unimpressed. Nothing wrong with it. Loved the look. But ultimately not remarkable enough to keep around when attempting to maintain a limited number of bicycles in the fleet.
