80s Gazelle Champion Mondial AA

I think that this Gazelle Champion Mondial AA is from the late 80s but not totally sure. It's been collecting dust in my garage for a few years now. There are a few minor paint blemishes but no dents or dings and for the most part this frame set is in great shape.

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

For a Gazelle with 531 Butted tubes, forks and stays, I could see it going for over 200 on ebay.

Hi, I wish I had known as I recently acquired my 1982 AB frameset in the same colour.
I can confidently date your AA frame as a 1981 based on the champion mondial in script font, the presence of a X-style chain stay bridge, the BB cable guides on top of the BB, and the classic butterfly brake bridge.
The source of my info is from Webklik.nl - the original Gazelle Champion Mondial
Given that there are some chips etc, I reckon you could get close to $300 on ebay. Note that each time you lean it on a wall, and get more scratches, you're devaluing the frame.

Early eighties would be about right. Check the serial number against this list to confirm. Nice bikes that have quite a following. The Germans are currently buying a lot of them and, judging by the reports here on BF, US interest is on the rise as well.
