Can you try for some better photos of the drive side of the bike, with closeups of the crank, rear derailleur, maybe the hubs, and the rear dropouts and fork crown ? I want to say a not very high end Peugeot of some sort, but I can't see it well enough to make that call without some doubts. Those safety levers on the brakes and the cottered crank don't seem to indicate anything better, though.

The features I notice are the head lugs, which are not the "Aztec" lugs of Peugeot's cheaper bikes. The frame also has a braze-on (on a seat stay) for a bottle generator. In the 1974 catalog we find this option, a UE-8:

Thanks everyone - I didn't think it's really anything special - I just want to know what its worth as I was thinking of selling it and want to get an Idea of what its worth. I will get better pics and post them later!

Nice bike; I'd buy this if it were local and the price was right. I like the lower end Pugs a lot and this one has good paint. Not worth a lot though.

It does look like the AE-8, except for those head lugs. When you take pics, please give us good shots of the various frame lugs and brazeons.

I'll take it outside tomorrow after work and get better pics.
I am based in Northern Ireland so i'd say there wouldnt be a great market here for vintage bikes, I wouldnt be looking for silly money but i'd be happy to get £100 for it. Would that be a reasonable asking price?

Considering the bike has fairly good cosmetics and a nice paint color this would be a reasonable starting price if everything works good.

That's a very reasonable starting price given how good a shape it is in. That's around $150 US; that bike can command that much in the US if not more in a large city and/or college town.

No drive-side pics? I can't tell what shape it's in, it looks like there's a big patch of rust above the head badge, that's not a good sign. And what's that top tube sticker covering, any damage?
Aztec lugs started later in the range using this foil head badge, and with the higher-end models, which this isn't (no chrome). This looks one of the lowest of low-end AO-8s, early 70s and it's missing the Ventolux pump that should be on the downtube. This looks to be Euro market (UK or DE I'd guess) based on the brakes, if stock.
Might pull $100-150 in my local market if it lacks damage and rust, it's ready to ride (incl decent tires & tubes). If you're in a bike geek market like Seattle, maybe you'll get another $50-$100 out of it, again, depending on the actual quality. I suspect with the GBP currency reference, you're in UK, and I can't say what the market is there. 100 could be a good start.
At the end of the day, this is an awesome bike and all, but it is important to remember it's one of lowest-end models they made. But - for crying out loud, please post drive-side pics of the bike if you choose to sell
