free spirits are pretty much the basement of bicycles. that said, i have had 2 of them and one can ride them! the paint is usually pretty nice.

I sold my last one for $50 so yeah, probably not worth 120

I brought down the price to 80$ I'm not a full time rider just kinda hard to find a kinda cheap priced bike. So you think 80 is good for it? or decent

If everything works good and it is fully serviced ready to ride with new tires $80 is OK if you intend to keep it as a cheap occasional rider. I think if you start riding regularly you will likely find yourself looking to upgrade.

That one has new brakes and a new seat, which together could be worth up to $50 or so (new).

I agree with others that the price is a little higher than I'd like to spend on it, but as a bike, it should make a great "commuter".

Part of the value will depend on how completely it has been "tuned".

Good Tires?
Cleaned & Lubed hubs?
Cleaned & Lubed Bottom Bracket?
Cleaned & Lubed Headset?
Good brakes?
Good brake and derailleur cables and cable housings.
Everything "tuned" and shifting smoothly, and braking well.

If it is truly "ready to ride", then one might be able to go for the full $120.

It really depends on the bits & pieces it's made from. Only about 1 in 4 Sears bikes was any good. Does it have a lugged frame? Cotterless crank? Alloy wheels? If not it's not worth much. Put it in the recycle bin & start over.

If it fits and rides well, $80 will work. Test ride it first if possible.

For $80 i'd say go for it.

Free Spirit bikes are cheap department store things, but the older ones are generally better than department store bikes built today.

Plus, the bar tape and brake levers look new. You can ride this bike for a while, then maybe use the parts on a better bike later on...

I wouldn't give $1.20 for that.
