Estimated Value 1982 Bianchi Nuova Racing 12 Vel
Hi All,
Looking for an estimated value on what I believe to be a 1982 Bianchi Nuova Racing 12 Vel road bike. I am in Denver which is a pretty hot vintage bike market and looking to resell locally. I've gotten an offer of $400 from a local bike shop that reconditions and resells. They obviously have to factor in overhead associated with an overhaul and also potential profit into that offer so I'm wondering what you think the actual overall value of the bike might end up being.
It is in good riding condition but could use a thorough cleaning and overhaul of all bearings to get it in tip top shape. The previous owner conservatively estimated over 50,000 miles on the bike. It's no trailer queen. Plenty of paint scratches and scuffs to prove it.
Bike is a Bianchi with a Nuova Racing 12 Vel decal on top tube.
Here is what I've gathered/assumed about the components...
Campagnolo Nuovo Record front and rear derailluers
Campagnolo shift levers
Ofmega Bianchi cranks
Ofmega headset
Dia Compe Royal Compe brakeset
Universal brake levers (original?)
3ttt handlebars and stem
Bianchi Selle Italia leather saddle (not original? but period correct?)
Celeste green pump (original?)
Mavic rear wheel with Ofmega rear hub (original?)
Rigida front wheel with Shimano front hub (assuming not original)
Any and all insight is much appreciated for this newbie to the forum!
Thanks much!

Here are the remainder of the pictures.
Thanks again!
PS - Are those Royal Compe brakes original? I'm guessing no

I sold one of these about 4 years ago that had been torn down, cleaned, overhauled with new consumables and a saddle. IIRC it brought $450 in the summer here in SoCal. If you have an offer of $400 as is I would take it. BTW it was a very nice rider and I do not recall what brake calipers it had and can't tell from my own photos. Just my 1¢ worth. YMMV.

Very much appreciate the response tmh657!
Your bike was definitely a fine example and in a lot better shape than mine. Think I'm gonna make the deal and let mine go. $400 seemed about right as I'd value one in great refurbished condition like yours at probably $600.
Thanks again for the response!
Any further insight from those familiar with this vintage Bianchi would be greatly appreciated!
